Thread Portals

‘Finely Spun’ is a collection of pieces that resulted from 10 years of work by the artist. The pieces are a combination of craftsmanship and new technologies that reflect the complex daily realities we face. The main element in the artist’s work is the ‘thread’, which leads us through space and time to weave a network or fabric of experience that situates ourselves in the here and now. Flexibility, resistance, tension, chaos and entanglement amongst others, are qualities of the thread that we share.
